Retribution Gospel Choir
Retribution Gospel Choir are three guys from Minnesota,USA.They play short, driving songs that often start out poppy melodic and then turn into psychedelic improvisations and drum and bass-heavy dub. People sometimes think the band is too loud or that they should take turns soloing, but generally, people are pleasantly surprised.
Members, Eric Pollard, Alan Sparhawk who was in the band Low and Steve Garrington. Sparhawk’s wife Mimi Parker ,appears on vocals on one Retribution Gospel Choir track as well. Their self-titled debut album was released on March 18, 2008 and was produced by Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon. Their new album, RGC 2 was released in January this year under Sub Pop Records.

Motion City Soundtrack
As the new year already began, Motion City Soundtrack is embarking on one of their most exciting and unprecedented musical adventures to date. On January 19, 2010, the band released their long-awaited fourth album, My Dinosaur Life, for Columbia Records. When it came time for Motion City Soundtrack to record their major-label debut, the band called upon Blink-182 bassist/producer/friend Mark Hoppus,with whom in their corner and a stockpile of songs that had been demoed in Minneapolis during the fall of 2008, the band was all set to relocate to Los Angeles in the New Year to start work on production for My Dinosaur Life.
The result is a collection of 12 songs that push the limits of power-pop and challenge the ideals of the boombox generation. For example, the album?s first single, ?Disappear,? is reminiscent of ?90s-era angst rock (a la The Pixies and The Replacements), with its muffled guitars and cautionary vocals. It?s this predilection for organized upheaval that further explains why Motion City Soundtrack?and their new album My Dinosaur Life, which was mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Kaiser Chiefs),is a study of musical contradictions because without the chaos, there wouldn?t be the calm and without the pain, there wouldn?t be the pop.
They went from playing in front of 150-200 kids to 1,500-2,000 kids without an issue. For better or worse, it?s Motion City Soundtrack?s constant quest to evolve and challenge themselves as musicians?and people?that keeps fans coming back for more. After all, as the saying goes, to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.

Beach House
Beach House is a dream pop group which formed in 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The group consists of Victoria Legrand (vocals, organ) and Alex Scally (guitar, keyboards). Legrand is the niece of french composer Michel Legrand. The group has released three albums: 2006’s “Beach House”, 2008’s “Devotion” and “Teen Dream” in early 2010. Within a year of formation, the group charmed indie music enthusiasts across the blogosphere with their languid songcraft.
Victoria can also be heard on Frenemies’ Birds in High School album. She and Chris Freeland created harmonies on the song Waiting for the Ambulance. Victoria can also be heard on Grizzly Bear’s 2009 release “Veckatimest” and she sings on “Slow Life”, a Grizzly Bear track featured on the official soundtrack for Twilight: New Moon.
In September of 2009 Sub Pop Records announced that Beach House had signed and that a follow up album to 2008’s “Devotion”. The new album,“Teen Dream” has just been released early this year.
